Policies and Returns

Online Purchases
All online purchase pricing is subject to the gold market.  Your credit card will not be charged at the time of your online purchase.  Any change in product pricing will be varified by phone and approved by the customer prior to your card being processed. 

Online Purchases are Special Orders and can not be returned.

Echanges & Returns (in store/ in stock purchases only)
Ted's Creative Jewelers exists to satisfy our customers.  Unless otherwise specified below, your purchases may be exchanged within 15 days from the original purchase date by the original client when accompanied with the sales slip.  Store credit is permitted within 30 days of purchase.  The item must be unused and unworn, in the original condition, and in the original gift box with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact.  Sale items, special orders, online orders, completed layaways, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable.  Gift recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only.  Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

Special Orders
We regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exhange can be made.  All special orders require a nonrefundable 25% deposit.  A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the client's request.  Online orders are also considered special orders.

Custom Work
Custom designed jewelry involves metals, gems and labor furnished by Ted's Creative Jewelers for a specific client.  As such, all custom jewelry is nonrefundable, and requires a 24% nonrefundable deposit before work begins.  Every effort will be made by Ted's Creative Jewelers to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered.  Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client's complete satisfaction.  Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing will gladly be made by Ted's Creative Jewelers to accomodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge depending on the extent of work involved.

Layaways
Articles may be placed on layaway for a maximum of 120 days with a minimum deposit of 20%.  Completed layaways are not returnable or exchangeable.  Layaways cancelled after 30 days of the original layaway are subject to a 20% restocking fee and the cost of any alterations.

Other Policies
Ted's Creative Jewelers is not responsible for altered gemstones left for repair, custom design, or appraisal.  This includes, but is not limited to, diamonds or false stampings on metal goods which may be mismarked.  We will not be responsible for any article left for more than 60 days.  A $20.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks due to insufficient funds.
